Blue Spirulina Smoothie Bowl

Apart from making the most beautiful smoothie bowl colour, Spirulina is a type of blue-green algae that is popular as a supplement. Spirulina is incredibly nutritious and has numerous health benefits.

Meet this blue-green smoothie bowl, packed with superfoods and protein that you can enjoy as a breakfast or as a dessert. 

INGREDIENTS 

  • Soaked cashews
  • 1 tbsp of blue spirulina
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 cup of mixed berries
  • 1 cup of sliced pineapple
  • Half a banana or half avocado (opitonnal)
  • 1 portion of Vanilla or Chocolate MOVE protein

PREPARATION

    1. Mix ingredients in the blender until smooth.
    2. Place de smoothie in a bowl and sprinkle with toppings of your choice.
*Fruit needs to be fully frozen to use for this recipe (if you want it thick like ice cream). Freeze fruit overnight to be sure it’s ready to use.
